Best things to eat where you live?
One of the best restaurants in San Francisco isn't even a restaurant, it's the San Buena taco stand, only open on Saturday at the Primavera farmers' market on the corner of Pacific and Sansome. Here you'll also find the best choice for tamales, salsas and tortillas, but for one day only you can have the best Mexican brunch. The must haves are the chilaquiles: red, verde, con chorizo. Or, try the tacos -- crispy Niman Ranch brisket, carnitas, or fish. With the menu changing weekly, it's all delicious -the sopas, albondigas (mexican meatballs), and other specials are worth a try.
First place you'd take an out-of-town visitor?
Gordo's on Clement for crispy carnitas.
Favorite ways to spend time?
Eating. I will drive or travel to seek out new/unique restaurants, music, and art.
