Activities/Hobbies, of favorite ways to spend time?
I like to cruise around town with my Wife and my 22 month old son, Max. We love walking around the mall, shopping, and finding new places to eat and hang out. Sacramento always has something new to do AND is a great place to walk and talk.
How would you spend the perfect afternoon in your city?
I would work out at the gym; then eat lunch somewhere outside, like David Berkley’s and shop around with while enjoying a venti coffee or two! I love meeting people and chatting about all subjects -- like sports, the state of our city and its downtown, and OF COURSE politics!
Top food/restaurant favorites/best thing to eat where you live?
I love Ma Jongs Asian Bistro! I also like hole-in-the-wall places – they are always great places to find great food as well as people in the Gold Country. Restaurant owners are a rare breed of entrepreneurs – they take tremendous risks to make our community better. I am fascinated by their courage and strength of will. They truly are the ambassadors of how people view our city and I appreciate them tremendously.
First place you’d take an out-of-town visitor?
Esquire Grille or Mason’s
Your favorite local drink right now (besides your own)?
The best place to go is L Wine Lounge for a glass of my favorite wine or a Red-Bull, Vodka, with a SPLASH of Cranberry. It gets me in the right mood!
